WhatsApp Messenger is a mobile messaging application available in multilingual which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia, those phones can all message each other! Because WhatsApp Messenger uses the same internet data plan that you use for email and web browsing, there is no cost to message and stay in touch with your friends.

WhatsApp was in the top 20 of all apps in the U.S. App Store. By February 2013, WhatsApp's user base had swelled to about 200 million active users and its staff to 50.

WhatsApp was launched in November 2009 exclusively on the App Store for the iPhone. In January 2010, support BlackBerry smartphones, Symbian in May 2010 and Android in August 2010. But WhatsApp users feel that something is missing wich is desktop application or mobile application.

On January 21, 2015, WhatsApp launched a web client which can be used from browsers to send messages through an announcement made by Jan Koum on his Facebook page. WhatsApp Web only works in Google Chrome.
